Arte Fiera 2027 in Bologna: 50th contemporary art fair

Arte Fiera returns to Bologna from 5 to 7 February 2027 for its landmark 50th edition, reaffirming its role as the leading fair on the Italian art calendar. Titled 'C'è tempo', this anniversary edition reflects on the fair's own history and its ability to reinvent itself, expressed through a visual identity that turns time into an unbroken chromatic flow. The Viaggio in Italia project reshapes the Main Section as a journey through Italian art via works on paper, spanning early 20th-century masters to the newest generations. Five curated sections accompany it — Fotografia e dintorni, Multipli, Pittura XXI, Prospettiva and Ventesimo+ — across the Modern and Contemporary pavilions, alongside a large publishing hub and the Book Talks programme. The edition also commemorates 50 years since the first International Week of Performance, with a dedicated project in the spaces adjoining the fair. BPER continues as Main Partner, confirming its commitment to art and culture as drivers of inclusion and local growth. Booking accommodation near BolognaFiere puts visitors within easy reach of the historic centre and the city's main transport links, making the fair simple to combine with a stay in Bologna.
